World tour: Catch acclaimed Nepalese poet at Griffin Free Library Tuesday

AUBURN, NH – Internationally acclaimed Nepalese poet Yuyutsu Sharma is making a stop on his tour of America at Griffin Free Public Library in Auburn on April 12 at 2 p.m.

The event is hosted by Manchester author Dan Szczesny.

Sharma has published more than 10 poetry collections, including: Milarepa’s Bones, 33 New Poems, Nepal Trilogy, Photographs and Poetry on Annapurna, Everest, Helambu & Langtang Spice Cake, Amsterdam, & Other Poems from Europe and America and Annapurna Poems.

His newest collection, Quaking Cantos, is about the deadly earthquakes that shook Kathmandu last year.

Sharma is Visiting Poet this spring at New York University, and is traveling the country giving talks and readings all over America.

The Griffin Free Public Library is located at 22 Hooksett Road in Auburn.
