MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs welcomed the Worcester Railers to SNHU Arena for the first time this year, losing 4-3 to the visitors.
Tony Cameranesi had two goals, including one on the power play, but once again the Monarchs were unable to hold a lead as Worcester scored three unanswered goals between Cameranesi’s score at 17:36 in the second period and Colton Saucerman’s late slapshot once the goaltender was pulled in the contest’s final moments.
Manchester could fall into the bottom slot of the ECHL’s North Division if they can’t change their fortunes tomorrow against the Maine Mariners.
The puck drops in Saturday’s contest at 6 p.m.
