MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police detectives are working diligently on an aggravated felonious sexual assault case involving a 29-year-old woman who told police she was walking home around midnight July 29 from the inner city when she was approached by a man she described as an African-American male, about age 17, with a thin build.

The victim said the two of them conversed as she walked south toward her residence from an inner city convenience store. At some point her attacker physically assaulted her and dragged her into a wooded area where he continued to assault her. The long ordeal finally ended when she was able to flee the area and flag down a passing vehicle.

The woman had obvious signs of physical trauma as a result of the attack and was taken to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The case remains under investigation. No further details are available at this time, police said.

This is the second sexual assault reported to police in as many days. On July 28 police arrested Rick Morrissey after he was discovered by police with his alleged victim in a church yard on the city’s West Side.

your absolutely correct but what are the chances in this day and age of a woman walking alone on streets in that area at midnight, its called common sense, so dont debate this with me you will lose. What the hell did she need so bad at midnight that couldn’t wait until morning, cigs, beer, etc. She was wrong to be out at that time of night in the zone where these things happen. Bottom line…………and I never said anything about clothes.
