Screen Shot 2017 11 15 at 7.41.43 AMMANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police Officer Jared Yaris was working a construction detail on South Willow Street at 8:50 a.m. on Nov. 14 when a Good Samaritan flagged him down. Eduardo Rocha, 49, of Manchester alerted the officer of an unconscious female who had crashed her vehicle in front of 428 South Willow St.

The two men broke a window to gain entry into the locked vehicle and pulled the woman out of the driver’s seat. They began chest compressions after realizing she had no pulse. They performed CPR for approximately three minutes until emergency personnel arrived on scene.

Emergency personnel treated the unconscious women, later identified as Amanda Reilly, 29 of Manchester, New Hampshire and later transported her to an area hospital. Officers on scene determined she was under the influence of drugs at the time she crashed her Hyundai, so she was charged with a violation level offense of operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and issued a court date of November 28, 2017.

Reilly struck a utility pole at a low speed, so no damage was noted other than a broken window caused by the men who extracted her from the vehicle.
