Woman jumps from second-floor window during ‘home invasion’

MANCHESTER, NH — On August 19, 2019 officers responded to 51 Penacook St. for a report of a woman jumping or falling out of a second-story window. Witnesses told police after the woman landed on the ground she got up and went to the corner of Penacook and Chestnut Streets and collapsed. Bystanders then came to her aid.

Police were able to make contact with four people inside the apartment from which she came. All four had similar stories about what happened. They told officers two Hispanic males and one Hispanic female came into the apartment all carrying guns. The intruders were yelling, telling them they were looking for someone and making threats of violence. One of the men told police he was hit with a gun. He said the suspects then went through the apartment, reportedly taking items of value. Soon after, another female came into the apartment. The suspects started yelling at her and she ended up running from them and jumping out a second-story window. The victims told police they had never seen her before.

It was later confirmed that the woman who had jumped from the window was being treated at the hospital, she was not cooperative when police tried to speak with her.
