MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman who was found “extensively” injured and lying in the road near Canal and Spring streets.
At about 10:30 p.m. police were dispatched for a “hit-and-run call” to the area near Wall Street Towers for a report of an unresponsive female suffering from injuries. Police found the woman, 39, whose injuries were described by police as “extensive,” and she was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Manchester Police are in the process of reviewing surveillance video from buildings in the area. This is still an active and ongoing investigation, but it does not appear suspicious and no other agencies are involved.
An autopsy will be performed Sept. 11 on the woman.
