MANCHESTER, NH – A Nashua woman was arrested inside of police headquarters on May 20, 2017 after a cab dropped her off for refusing to pay her cab fare. Shannon Drouin, 37, of Nashua, picked up a cab at Club ManchVegas and requested a ride to Nashua. Drouin allegedly told the cab driver she was not going to pay him when he told her that it was a $50 fare.

The cab driver, Georges Morel, 61, of Manchester, told Drouin he would drop her off at police headquarters if she refused to pay. She continued to yell at the cabbie, so he dropped her off at police headquarters. Drouin entered the lobby and became confrontational with Officers Michael McGee and Alexander Martens.

Drouin, who appeared intoxicated, was guided to the ATM machine located inside of the front lobby. She withdrew enough money to pay her fare to the waiting cab driver. Drouin continued to yell at the officers as they directed her out of the lobby toward the cab. Drouin refused to leave the lobby and began yelling at Officer McGee again.

Drouin was ultimately placed into custody and charged with theft of services for refusing to pay the cab driver for the ride from ManchVegas to police headquarters. She was also charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on $500 personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on June 16, 2017.
