MANCHESTER, NH – A city woman involved in an accident Thursday, striking two parked cars, was arrested on drug and disorderly charges.

On October 20 at 4:20 p.m., police say Olivia Fitzwater Duran, 22,  of Manchester was operating her 2005 Chrysler 300 on Oak Street at Myrtle Street. Witnesses reported seeing Fitzwater Duran operating erratically and swerving toward a jogger on the sidewalk before eventually striking two parked cars. Witnesses also reported seeing Fitzwater Duran exit her vehicle and begin to hide unknown items inside the front of her pants.

Officer Michael Dejoy conducted the accident investigation and determined that Fitzwater Duran would be arrested for reckless operation. Fitzwater Duran proceeded to act disorderly and shout vulgar obscenities which could be heard by the public. During the arrest, Fitzwater Duran was found to be in possession of prescription drugs not prescribed to her, and was currently out on bail with conditions imposed by the court.

Fitzwater Duran was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday October 21 in the 9th Circuit Court District of Manchester to answer to the charges of possession of prescription drugs; disorderly conduct; violation of bail conditions; and reckless operation.
