MANCHESTER, NH – A city woman accused of pointing a gun at another woman during an argument was arrested a police investigation indicated that the gun in question was also stolen.
On April 26, 2017 at approximately 8:25 p.m., Manchester Police responded to a call at 44 West St. for a reported threat involving a firearm.
The officers spoke with several witnesses at the scene, including Keishla Toro Caraballo, 27, of 164 Douglas St., Manchester. Caraballo stated she and a female later identified as, Iris Maldonado, 30, of 44 West St., got into an argument. As a result, Maldonado took out a black pistol and pointed it at Carabello’s head, and threatening her.
Officers continued to investigate the threat and spoke with Maldonado. The officers located several firearms, including a black Smith and Wesson MP 9mm. That particular firearm matched the description given by Caraballo and was also reported stolen out of Nashua. Also located during the investigation were two other firearms (a second handgun and a rifle), neither was reported stolen. Lastly, a Massachusetts State Police badge was also found with the guns.
The investigation into the police badge is ongoing.
Maldonado was taken into custody and is facing one count each of criminal threatening (felony); receiving stolen property (felony); and felonious use of a firearm (felony). She was admitted to a $10,000 cash or surety bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court Manchester on Thursday April 27, 2017.
