MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Friday night, police arrested a woman allegedly connected to a reported stolen car.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. on July 1, police responded to Planet Fitness at 99 Eddy Rd., where a victim reported her car had been stolen.

She arrived at the gym around 7 p.m. and didn’t realize the car was stolen until about 90 minutes later. She also reported that her wallet and keys had been placed in an unlocked gym locker and it had also been taken.

Thanks to a location app on her car, she determined that the car was at the parking lot of Best Buy at the Mall of NH. There, police saw a woman heading toward the car with multiple shopping bags.

Officers ordered that woman, 24-year-old Tyquannya Tyson of Manchester, to stop just as she put the bags into the car and began walking back toward the mall. Tyson began to run, but was quickly apprehended.

Merchandise totaling over $1,000 was found in the bags, Tyson was found with multiple credit cards not in her name and multiple wallets.

Tyson was charged with alleged theft of a motor vehicle, fraudulent use of credit cards, receiving or possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.

She is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough Superior Court on July 2.
