Woman arrested last week faces new drug possession charges after vehicle search

MANCHESTER, NH – A woman arrested July 17 faces new charges after a search of her impounded vehicle turned up a variety of drugs, cash and paraphernalia.

Manchester Police towed a vehicle during a drug-related arrest on July 17, 2017. A subsequent search warrant was executed on the vehicle July 23 by Officer Jeff Fierimonte and Sgt. John Cunningham.

The officers located the following items during the execution of the search warrant: $2,700 dollars; a cell phone; a ledger; 1.1 grams of fentanyl; 16 grams of heroin; 0.3 grams of cocaine; 9.7 grams of a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine; and one buprenorphine pill. The officers also located packaging materials along with two digital scales.

As a result, Shannon Wells, 32, of Manchester, was additionally charged with four counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. She will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on July 24, 2017.
