MANCHESTER, NH — A wintry mix will spread across southern New Hampshire Monday night into Tuesday with light to moderate accumulations expected. The snow will impact the Tuesday morning commute before coming to an end, according to the National Weather Service.

Low pressure intensifies as it arrives in the Gulf of Maine late Tuesday night into Wednesday, and may spread another round of heavier snow for parts of the area.

Warmer air over southern New Hampshire and along the coast may bring periods of rain and lower snowfall amounts in those regions. Considerable uncertainty still exists on what locations will be impacted by significant snowfall, but there is a potential for heavy snowfall rates during the Wednesday morning commute.

The weather outlook will continue to be more like January in New Hampshire, with temperatures dipping into the single digits and below, and more snow on the horizon Sunday, currently 1-3 inches for our area.
