MANCHESTER, NH — Let’s get this out of the way: Winter Storm Jonas has nothing to do with those adorable mop-headed brothers who sing.
Our friends at the Weather Channel, who took to naming winter storms a few years back, are calling Winter Storm Jonas, which is bearing down on the East Coast, a major snow-making event this weekend.
Looks like New Hampshire is in the clear!
For those in the snow zone, which extends across the mid-Atlantic states as far north as Boston, weather watchers are also calling for ice and strong winds which may lead to power outages and treacherous travel, along with coastal flooding in major hubs including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston.
So if travel is in your immediate future, you’ll want to hover near the closest Doppler Radar screen.
So to recap: As of Wednesday night’s update, the Weather Underground snow outlook for this weekend in Manchester is non-existent.
We’ll keep you posted. Because, you know: weather.
