MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, proud ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced the Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Monarchs, donated $10,000 to the Breast Care Center at Catholic Medical Center. Manchester Monarchs CEO, Brian Cheek, presented the donation to CMC Surgical Director of Breast Health, Dr. Connie Campbell and Dr. Betsy Angelakis of the Breast Care Center.

The funds were raised from proceeds of the Pink in the Rink game Feb. 11 through the sale of tickets, jerseys and a silent auction. A tribute to breast cancer survivors and their families took place during pre-game ceremonies, as well as a ceremonial puck drop by Dr. Campbell.
