GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Manchester Monarchs may face the Adirondack Thunder once the post-season rolls around, making the confidence built from Manchester’s 3-1 victory over the Thunder on Saturday all the more important.

After being blown out in their last encounter, Manchester struck first with a pair of first period goals from Tony Cameranesis and Pavel Jenys.

Adirondack got on the board during a power play opportunity as James Henry’s redirection found the back of the net, but a withering Thunder attack resulted in little more than a third Manchester goal from Daniil Miromanov and the inability to get past Manchester netminder Charles Williams.

Williams ended with 39 saves, bringing his save percentage up to 92 percent for the season, fifth best among ECHL goalies with over 1,000 minutes on the ice.

The Monarchs return to SNHU Arena on Sunday for an afternoon matchup with the Norfolk Admirals.
