MANCHESTER, NH — Well, it will all come down to who is quicker with the buzzer, bolder with the wagers and most accurate with answers when Friday’s final Jeopardy Tournament of Champions episode airs, featuring New Hampshire contestant Kerry Greene as one of the three finalists.

“Basically, it was a shellacking by Alex Jacob.  He had $29,600 going into Final Jeopardy after a spectacular $15,200 Daily Double bet.  Matt had $14,600 and I had $8,200.  No one got the Final Jeopardy clue, for which the answer was: The Count of Monte Cristo.  Matt and I both answered ‘The Man in the Iron Mask.’  He bet $11,600 and I bet $4,800, leaving him with $3,000 and me with $3,400 going into tomorrow’s final game.  Alex bet nothing, and answered “What is Good Game, Guys?”  So Matt and I have some serious work to do tomorrow if we want to mount a challenge to Alex,” said Greene, when asked for a quick recap of the show.

That pretty much sums up the excitement from Thursday’s pre-recorded broadcast, from the mother of two and volunteer court advocate for CASA NH, who earned her way into the Tournament of Champions after a spectacular run earlier this year on the popular A&Q game show.

Carolyn Cote of CASA NH has been following the action, along with everyone else who is rooting for Greene from the Manchester office. She points out that Friday’s final, which normally airs at 7:30 p.m. on CBS, will be preempted by a sports program, “Patriots All Access,” and that those who want to watch Greene go for the $250,000 will have to wait a few hours and tune in at 10:30 p.m. on Comcast Channel 38 (MyTV).

“People who don’t want spoilers will have to be careful on social media,” Cote said.

All three contestants are formidable players who have bonded with one another, through their common experience as successful Jeopardy contestants and also via the strong social media community on Twitter and Facebook (#TOC2015) made up of fans of the program as well as contestants, past and present.
