MANCHESTER, NH —  Police are looking for a burglar who smashed his way into a West Side convenience store early Wednesday.

Manchester Police responded to Z1 Express, 650 Second St., at 3:50 a.m. on Nov. 16 for a burglary call. The officers observed the front door had been smashed, and entered the building to check for a suspect, who had apparently fled before police arrived.

The store owner Jack Nasz, 48, of Manchester, came to assess the damage and told police that cash had been taken from the register. He reviewed the video surveillance and watched the suspect remove cash from the register before removing two packs of Marlboro menthol cigarettes from the shelf.

The suspect is described as a white male, unknown height and weight, last seen wearing a mask, gloves, jeans and a black and white hooded sweatshirt with unknown writing on the front.

The video surveillance captured the suspect fleeing on foot toward Queen City Avenue.
