MANCHESTER, NH –  The Manchester West Raiders and Manchester South Sabres announced April 12 that they have merged together to form the Manchester SouthWest Sabres.

The SouthWest Sabres will continue to offer flag and tackle football along with cheerleading within NHYFSC, the state’s largest youth football and cheerleading conference.

The SouthWest Sabres recently completed the construction of a new club house and installation of a scoreboard donated by Quirk Automotive at their home location of Highland-Goffe’s Falls. This merger will assist in providing fun and competitive football and cheerleading options for boys and girls in South Manchester, West Manchester and surrounding communities.

Lindsay Perkins, President Manchester SouthWest Sabres

“We are so excited to welcome the West Raiders and their storied history to our Sabre organization. We have seen some tremendous growth over the last few years and are thrilled to welcome players and families from the West Side into our family.”

Families with children age 5 through 13 from the South and West sides of Manchester are encouraged to visit manchestersouthsabres.com to learn more and register for the upcoming season.
