FOLLOW UP STORY – 4 P.M. – BOMB SQUAD: ‘CRUDE EXPLOSIVE DEVISE’ FOUND ON WEST STREET
UPDATE, 11:30 a.m. Manchester Police Capt. Brian O’Keefe reports that NH State Police Explosives Disposal Unit arrived and has “removed a device.” The “secure campus” mode at West High School was canceled as soon as the scene was cleared, O’Keefe said.
More information will be forthcoming, O’Keefe said.
MANCHESTER, NH — City Police, along with New Hampshire State Police, we’re en route to West Street for a suspicious object in the roadway as of 10:45 a.m.
West Street, between Douglas Street and Granite Street, will not allow traffic at this time.
Expect delays in the immediate area, as a result of the suspicious package, West High School has gone into a secured campus.
