MANCHESTER, NH – Who doesn’t like a fun night out for a worthy cause?
You’re invited to this one, the first-ever silent auction at Milly’s Tavern on May 17, with proceeds going to support athletics at West High School.
Former Mayor and long time West High School principal Robert Baines will serve as Master of Ceremonies, and there will be a live performance by The Jimmy Lehoux band.
Some of the items up for bid in the silent auction include: A signed Philadelphia Eagles helmet; overnight accommodations to Mill Falls on Lake Winnipesaukee; New England Patriots Super Bowl memorabilia; designer handbags; and thousands of dollars in gift cards from local restaurants and vendors.
Mayor Gatsas and the Board of Aldermen have been invited, and organizers are hoping for a community-oriented event that will help bring attention to West High School, and their many important programs.
Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door or can be purchased via the West Booster Club website using PayPal.
