MANCHESTER, NH – The West High Blue Knights Foundation named Brad Morse as the 2nd Annual Walter Lubelczyk Award recipient at their Oktoberfest event last week.

Brad Morse, a member of the class of 1991, is a teacher at West High where he teaches the law class that Walter Lubelczyk made popular.  He serves as the secretary of the Board of Trustees for the West High Blue Knights Foundation and acts as the liaison between the Foundation and the teachers. He has proven time and again that he is effective at not only making learning fun but also showing students how to apply classroom learning in the world around them. The Board of Trustees could think of no person more deserving of this award.

The Walter Lubelczyk Blue Knight Award, created in memory of beloved West High teacher Walter Lubelczyk, recognizes a faculty member, alumnus, or community member who dedicates their time for the betterment of the students of Manchester West High School. The inaugural award was given to Sharon “Lolli” Bonte in the spring of this year.

The West High Blue Knights Foundation was founded to offer financial resources to support unique opportunities and activities. Since inception, the Foundation has given out almost $25,000 in funding to ensure that all students can participate in extra curricular activities.
