MANCHESTER, NH – According to upscale travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler, Manchester is the place to be if you’re young, sociable, employable and meh on politics and religion.

Conde Nast ranked Manchester at No. 9 among the Top 10 Most Underrated Cities for Millennials, due to our low unemployment rate, job availability and because we’re the home of the “futuristic Segway.”

You can check it out here.

And by the way, Manchester also came in at No. 9 (out of 12) on a site called Bankrate.com, for best places for seniors, based on our golf courses, libraries, proximity to “cruiseports” and the William Cashin Senior Center. [On a scale of 1 to 10 I am not sure Bankrate.com has as much street cred as Conde Nast, but we’ll take it.]

It would be interesting to hear what you think of the rankings, and Manchester’s showing at No. 9 on both fronts.

Oh, and next time your millennials complain about life in Manchester, tell them, “Hey, at least you’re not stuck in Hawaii!”
