MANCHESTER, NH — The Executive Health and Sports Center (EHSC) will serve as the local Pickleball center of the universe Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29 as the NH Senior Games holds its annual tournament. In all, more than 160 athletes from across New Hampshire, New England and beyond will vie for medals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

“This Pickleball Tournament is a great community event and we’re pleased to welcome some of the best senior players in the region to our facilities this weekend,” said Justin Benton, President and General Manager, Executive Health and Sports Center.  “We’re also very excited to once again partner with the New Hampshire Senior Games and to support their mission of providing athletic opportunities for active, older adults.  Helping people lead active lifestyles is something we are really committed to as an organization.”

According to event organizers, the event is one of the larger Pickleball tournaments ever held in the state and there’s plenty on the line for the athletes 50 years of age and older.  Medal winners automatically qualify for the 2019 National Senior Games to be held in Albuquerque, NM.

“This promises to be a momentous event and we are grateful to the Benton Family and their team of dedicated professionals like Tennis Pro Juan Ortiz for their partnership and support of this tournament,” said Jim Eddinger, Chair of the New Hampshire Senior Games.  “This a great venue and they are wonderful hosts.”

The weekend schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, July 28 @ 8 a.m.: Doubles play
  • Sunday, July 29 @ 8 a.m., Mixed doubles play
