MANCHESTER, NH – It’s February in New Hampshire which means winter is still upon us.
The next storm system will spread snow into northern New England Sunday morning. Snow will begin early Sunday and turn to freezing rain in southern New Hampshire and interior southwest Maine.
According to the 10-day forecast, nighttime temperatures will begin to dip Monday night and remain well below freezing for the foreseeable forecast future.
What: Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch expected.
Where: Central and southern New Hampshire and southwest Maine away from the coast.
When: From 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday Feb. 24
Snow and freezing rain will cause road conditions to be come slippery making travel more difficult. Expect slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
