Weare man injured after motorcycle crash near Hooksett tolls

HOOKSETT, NH –A Weare man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday south of the Hooksett tolls.

At approximately 12:45 p.m. on April 28., New Hampshire State Police Troopers  and personnel from the Hooksett Fire Department, responded to a motorcycle accident on I-293 southbound, south of the Hooksett tolls in Hooksett.

On arrival, they found that Thomas Perrault, 59, of Weare, was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle and lost control of his bike, driving off the paved portion of the roadway into the center median. Perrault was ejected into the grassy median and the motorcycle came to a final rest in the northbound travel lanes.

Although the crash left the motorcycle mangled, Perrault suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Catholic Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and anyone with further information related to this crash is asked to contact Trooper Tyo at 603-666-3333.
