Warrant leads to arrest of Amherst Street resident on multiple drug charges, loaded rifle and pistol found

MANCHESTER, NH –Michael Marchetti, 29, of Manchester, was charged Sept. 1, 2016, with drug possession with intent to distribute based on the following police narrative.

Detectives from the Manchester Police Department Special Enforcement Division conducted an extensive investigation resulting in the execution of a search and arrest warrant at Marchetti’s residence, 372 Amherst St.

Marchetti was located leaving his residence and arrested on the warrant, charging him with three counts of sales of a controlled drug (heroin/fentanyl). At the time of the arrest, Marchetti was also in possession of three Baggies of heroin and two Baggies of marijuana, all of which were packaged for sale and subsequently charged with possession of controlled drug and possession with intent to distribute.

The search warrant resulted in locating heroin/fentanyl, methamphetamine, multiple pills, drug paraphernalia, scales, Narcan kits, a wood stock Enfield Rifle with two magazines/ ammunition and black pistol and holster containing a .45 Highpoint pistol with a loaded magazine.

Marchetti was scheduled to be arraigned Friday September 2 in the 9th Circuit District Court in Manchester.
