If you’re like me you have a filing cabinet overflowing with user manuals, invoices, receipts and the like. The importance of keeping information about your home or apartment is vital because you will never know when you have to submit for that warranty, or you need to touch up a room with paint.
I’ve discovered a great app that keeps everything at your fingertips called Centriq. This mobile app lets you organize everything about your home in an easy to navigate format. You can specify whether you want to organize information via room, floor, address, etc.
Your home appliances are super easy to add to this app, all you have to do is scan the nameplate and the Centriq app will automatically search for the appliance, including any user manuals, recall information, and give you quick access to ordering parts. No more wondering what water filter you need for your fridge, it can all be ordered right from the app.
There is nothing worse than looking for a particular paint color you used in your bedroom five years ago because you want to touch it up. Scanning all the cans in your basement in befuddlement asking yourself is this the one I used in that bedroom? With Centriq you can easily scan that paint label and attach it to it’s designated room. No longer do you need to go to the home improvement store to get a paint color matched, it’s now at your fingertips for the associate to enter into the system.
My favorite feature with the Centriq app is the ability to create a video tutorial. Let’s say you always forget how to winterize your sprinkler system, well you can make a video of yourself explaining the process and replay it in 12 months when it’s time to do it again.
A bonus feature that you can also utilize with this app is if you ever have to file a claim with your insurance you will have pictures, serial numbers and everything you need to make filing that claim so much easier, and we all know how difficult it can be dealing with insurance companies.
So if you are looking for an easy way to organize your home check out Centriq that is available on both Android and IOS devices.
