MANCHESTER, NH – If, like me, you are called to attention daily at the sounding of the noontime bells, which toll from the Precious Blood Monastery throughout the day on the city’s East Side, then you may have also noticed the flurries, which started around the same time.

Although I hate to see any more snow – especially with my tulips and daffodils struggling to find some room to grow – the good news is that the potential for accumulation this weekend is slim to none.

According to the The Weather Underground, rain and snow will change to all rain by the afternoon hours Friday. High 41 degrees. Friday Night  a 20 percent chance of precipitation. Rain early Saturday, then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High of 42 degrees.

And Sunday – which is also St. Patrick’s Day parade day here in the city – there is only a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
