MANCHESTER, NH —Police have released the name of a man who was found shot dead at a Thornton Street residence early Nov. 29.

Robert Shatney, 51, of Manchester, died as a result of a gunshot wound to the chest. The Chief Medical Examiner has determined that the manner of death was homicide.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, police said.

No arrests have been made. Police say the public should remain vigilant, and ask that anyone with information should contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711 or the Manchester Detective Division at 603-792-5500 or contact the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040 and provide an anonymous tip.
