MANCHESTER, NH – Vice President Mike Pence, who was scheduled to visit New Hampshire July 2 for a round-table discussion on addiction recovery, will not be coming to the state after all.

The trip was to include a visit to Pritt Recovery Center in Salem, which was to be broadcast via WhiteHouse.gov.

However, around noon on Tuesday word was disseminated that Air Force 2 was diverted back to the White House.

At around 1 p.m. Pence’s press secretary Alyssa Farah posted the following message via Twitter, which contradicts earlier reports that Air Force 2 was “diverted.”

We’ll update the story as we learn more.
