MANCHESTER, NH – This week’s US Marshals “Fugitive of the Week,” Lynn Taylor was arrested March 18 in Manchester, NH, by members of the U.S. Marshals-NH Joint Fugitive Task Force. Taylor was wanted on an outstanding Merrimack County warrant for probation violations. Taylor was on probation as a result of her convictions and sentences for disarming a police officer and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
Late Wednesday morning anonymous tipster who had seen Taylor’s photo on WMUR-TV contacted the U.S. Marshals and provided the information that led to Taylor’s quick arrest. Taylor was located in the area of Douglas and West Streets on the west side of Manchester, where she was taken into custody without incident. Taylor was turned over to the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office for transport to the Merrimack County Jail, where she will be booked and held pending her initial court appearance.
Several member agencies of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force made this arrest possible, including the Manchester Police Department, the Hillsborough & Merrimack County Sheriff’s Offices along with deputy US Marshals.
“Once again, the partnership between the public and law enforcement has proven to be a strong one; the many eyes on the streets are truly an invaluable tool for law enforcement, said U.S. Marshal David Cargill Jr. “Thank you very much to everyone who called in and made this quick arrest possible.”
