MANCHESTER, NH — A woman was arrested on several charges Monday after refusing to exit a vehicle that was about to be towed because she was urinating inside the vehicle.
Officer Alexander Martens and Michael McGee conducted a motor vehicle stop at 1:30 a.m. in the area of Auburn Street and Union Street. The female operator of the Dodge Charger failed to use a turn signal, so they conducted a motor vehicle stop.
They spoke with the operator and her two passengers, including one Natasha Robinson, 20, of Manchester. The officers discovered the operator, Rachel Gloria Hardy, 19, of Charlotte, NC, was operating without a valid license, so they issued her a vehicle summons.
The officers informed the two women inside the vehicle that they had to vacate the vehicle so it could be towed. However, Robinson turned her back toward the officers, rolled down her window and screamed at them to step away from the vehicle. Robinson informed the officers that she was urinating into a can while seated in the vehicle. A minute later, she opened the door and dumped the contents of the can on the street, followed by the can and two napkins. The officers instructed Robinson to clean up the trash.
The officers also observed a small plastic bag containing a rock-like substance they believed to be methamphetamine when Robinson picked up one of the napkins. They placed her into custody and charged her with littering, falsifying physical evidence and possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) after the rock tested presumptive positive.
Robinson refused to comply with the booking process, so she was transported to Hillsborough County House of Correction. She will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on December 6, 2016.
Both Hardy and Kante were released from the scene.
