MANCHESTER, NH — Police are investigating the death of a child at Econo Lodge.

On October 7, 2019, at approximately 6 p.m., Officers from the Manchester Police Department responded to the Econo Lodge on the city’s West  Side for a medical emergency involving a child.  

The child was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead by medical staff. 

At this time the Manchester Police Department is working in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s office to determine the cause of the child’s death following an autopsy, scheduled for Tuesday morning.
