WHEN:

Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Bedford High School Theater, 47 Nashua Road

WHAT:

Police and representatives from the NH ICAC Task Force will discuss how citizens can better protect their children while they’re on computers, cell phones, iPads, digital cameras, gaming systems, social networks and internet blogs.

The hour-and-a-half presentation is geared toward parents, educators and community leaders looking to gain a better understanding of the technology available to teenagers and the ways predators can use the internet and social media applications to exploit them.

About the New Hampshire ICAC:

The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was established in 1998 and is responsible for investigating cases of child sexual exploitation involving the use of high technology throughout the state. This program enables law enforcement agencies to work together to acquire the technical skills, specialized equipment and resources to effectively investigate and prosecute offenders.
