MANCHESTER, NH – Police are seeking two men in connection with a robbery Saturday at a local convenience store.

Police responded to 7-Eleven, 557 Maple St. on April 21 at approximately 1:15 a.m. after the clerk called to report a robbery involving two men and a pair of scissors. The clerk told Officer Matthew O’Connor one of the suspects waited in line to purchase an item before jumping on the counter and brandishing a pair of scissors while the other man exited the store and got into a gray colored Mazda CX-7.

The man who jumped on the counter emptied the cash drawer as he stood on the counter waving the scissors toward the clerk. That man was described as a Hispanic man with a thin build, last seen wearing grey sweat pants, black pants and white sneakers.

The man who fled the store was seen in the store with a female child prior to the robbery and he was described as a Hispanic man with glasses, last seen wearing blue jeans with a red-and-black sweat shirt. He exited the store with the child prior to the robbery and it appears the two men left the parking lot in the Mazda, which was captured on video surveillance tape. Police believe the Mazda had a New Hampshire registration starting with the number four.
