MANCHESTER, NH – If great music and nostalgia is your thing, you’ll want to check out The Everly Brothers Experience, coming May 7 to the Tupelo Music Hall in Derry.
Brothers Zachary and Dylan Zmed (sons of actor Adrian Zmed) head the five-man ensemble to recreate the sound and energy of the popular Everly Brothers, backed by The Bird Dogs band, featuring drummer Burleigh Drummond, Devon Geyer on electric guitar, and Eric Johnson on bass.

The concept band launched in January of 2016, when the brothers Zmed along with Drummond began developing The Everly Brothers Experience show. Since then they have celebrated the pivotal sounds of The Everly Brothers music for audiences all across the U.S. and overseas in iconic clubs, theaters, performing arts centers, casinos, ballrooms, and coliseums.
“Our aim is to honor the aesthetics of their iconic sound and honor their unique place in music history all while telling our own personal story,” says Dylan Zmed.
Don and Phil Everly are credited with being the quintessential crooners who put themselves on the rock’n’roll map with their acoustic guitar strumming and tight harmonies. Known for a string of hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s including “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “Bird Dog” and “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” the Everly Brothers were early influencers of acts to follow, including the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Simon & Garfunkel.
The importance of the Everlys in modern music history is not lost on The Zmed Brothers.
Growing up under the creative influence of their father, a successful traveling singer/dancer/actor, and their mother Barbara, a Southern California school teacher, the Zmed Brothers continually strive to pay homage to their familial roots by infusing an instinctual blend of entertainment and education into every show.
The Everly Brothers Experience will take you back to the future with a celebration of good time rock’n’roll. Show is May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Tupelo Music Hall, in its new location, 10A Street in Derry.
