HOOKSETT, NH – At approximately 7:45 a.m. a tractor-trailer hauling Idaho potatoes traveling north on Interstate-93 just south of Exit 10 lost control, slamming into the guard rail on the right side of the road and skidding across the four lanes, striking the bridge over the Merrimack River.
The operator was found at fault for this crash and was cited for traveling too fast for the existing road conditions.

Due to the location of the cab and trailer, the left two lanes had to be closed for approximately three hours.

The tractor trailer was hooked to another cab and removed from the scene. NH State Police advised the tractor-trailer was loaded with 40,000 pounds of potatoes from Idaho.
