MANCHESTER, NH – Andrew Shea, 36, an inmate who escaped from the Calumet House last week, was arrested August 22 by Hooksett Police, in conjunction with the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit after a search warrant was executed at 21 Andrea Ave. in Hooksett.

Officer Joseph Ducharme of the Hooksett Police Department was able to confirm Shea was wanted by the New Hampshire State Police and obtained a search warrant to search the Andrea Avenue location. Due to Shea being incarcerated for two felony armed robbery charges and a felon in possession of a firearm charge, the Hooksett Police Department contacted the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit to execute the search warrant.

“Being a member community of the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit has proven to be beneficial in cases such as this. The Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit did an excellent job in ending the situation peacefully”, said Chief Peter Bartlett of the Hooksett Police Department.
