Police arrested three people Aug. 1 after a tipster called in a burglary in progress on Central Street.

At about 9 a.m.  multiple patrol units responded to 429 Central Street for a burglary in progress. Officers Neil Penttinen, Tyler Shaw, Jake Tyler and his police dog Bud all responded to the scene.

An unidentified source called police to report that a woman and two men had broken a window of an abandoned property and entered through the broken window. Police surrounded the building while Officer Tyler and his partner Bud entered the property.

None of the three individuals willingly came out of the house, so Bud went to work on the inside perimeter. It was inside the house that Bud located and apprehended Jordan Gingras, 21, no fixed address. Gingras received a dog bite during the arrest and was later taken to a

local hospital for treatment to her lower leg. Officer Tyler and Bud also located and arrested Elijah Pelletier, 24, and Luis Maldonado, 39, both of Manchester.

All three were charged with one count burglary and one count criminal trespass.
