RANDOLPH, NH — About 3,000 motorcyclists converged in Randolph after beginning their journey at the Broken Spoke Saloon in Laconia. Their final destination was a roadside memorial to honor the lives of the seven motorcyclists who died on June 21.

Bikers gathered initially at one of 15 meet-up points, and then assembled at the Broken Spoke Salon in Laconia to ride together to the memorial site, where they held a memorial service, despite stormy weather, and heavy rain at times.

The ride was organized with the cooperation of NH State Police and other municipalities.
On June 21, a 2016 Dodge pick-up truck driven by Volodoymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, of West Springfield, MA., who was hauling a car trailer as he drove west on Route 2, struck 10 motorcyclists, killing seven and injuring three. The motorcyclists belonged to the Jarheads Motorcycle Club and were heading to a charity event in Gorham at the time of the crash.
