Inaugural Easter Seals NH Senior Services

MANCHESTER, NH — If you are crazy about cake and captivated by candy then step right up for the Inaugural Easter Seals NH Senior Services Frosting Frenzy event. This sweet evening out features executive chefs from local senior care facilities and a student from the Southern NH University Culinary Program showcasing their talents in a cake and candy competition on September 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Puritan Conference Center in Manchester, NH.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Easter Seals Senior Services, which provides a variety of support options including adult day services, in-home non-medical care, support groups, and memory loss specific programs for seniors and their caregivers.

Mike Morin, co-host of WBIN’s Chef’s Plate, radio personality, and author, will emcee the Frosting Frenzy. Event attendees will be treated to appetizers and will help to crown the People’s Choice winner in the candy competition along with guest judges, including WMUR Meteorologist Josh Judge, Great NH Restaurant Chef Nicole Barreira, Manchester Police Chief Nick Willard, and Master Cake Designer Shara Chickering-Hill, of Chickadee Hill Cakes.

This event is generously sponsored by The Courville Communities, Silverstone Living, Villa Crest Retirement & Nursing Center, Southern NH University Culinary Arts Program, Amborgi Law Office, and Colonial Poplin Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
