The Taste of Downtown, held by Intown Manchester and sponsored by AARP, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 16 from 5 – 8 p.m. at locations throughout Downtown Manchester.
The Taste of Downtown, in its 12th year, is the fun-filled, Manchester foodie event of the year. The Taste involves over 40 Downtown businesses – retailers and restaurants alike. With your wristband, you can stroll into any of the locations along the route and grab samples of delicious tastes from local restaurants while browsing the goods at Downtown’s amazing retail shops.
There will be local artists with their work on display, as well as live musicians scattered throughout the route. Proceeds from this event go directly to the beautification of downtown Manchester for holiday decorations, graffiti removal, flowers and more.
Advance tickets are now on sale for $15 or by stopping Intown Manchester’s office at 1000 Elm Street. Ticket prices will increase to $20 the day of the event. This year bracelets will replace tickets, making the dining experience that much easier for everyone.
