MANCHESTER, NH – A volunteer initiative to “Take Back Valley Cemetery” is underway.

Tanya Frazier has created an online sign-up system where anyone can volunteer to pitch in. The plan for Phase I is an initial clean up and assessment of the next steps. Volunteers will gather every other Saturday in July to get things rolling.

Frazier says she plans to be there July 1, and all are welcome, whether it’s just to say hello or work a full volunteer slot.

Volunteers should bring gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. Those with cordless trimmers or a sawsall should feel free to bring those as well (along with eye protection).

If you can’t swing Saturdays, email Frazier at tanya@volintegrity.org to let her know when you can be available and she’ll work with you to arrange a work day.

You can also connect with other like-minded Valley Cemetery supporters via Facebook, which already has about 130 members.
