After the arrest of Christopher Martinez for a Dec. 12 shooting a search was conducted of the van he was in and detectives located several items including: a .380 caliber handgun (stolen out of Florida); heroin (53.4 grams); five separate prescription pills including oxycodone. READ MORE
The resident of the apartment reported that when he woke up he noticed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the wall above the kitchen window. The resident did not report hearing a gunshot during the overnight hours while he was sleeping. READ MORE
Late Oct. 2 the U.S. Marshal’s featured “Fugitive of the Week,” Jose Miranda was arrested in New York City by members of the NYPD. Miranda, 25, was last known to live in Manchester, N.H., and was wanted on both state and federal arrest warrants. A Federal arrest warrant was issued by the U.S. District Court in Concord, N.H for Supervised Release Violations, stemming from an original conviction and sentence for Distribution of Cocaine. The N.H. State Parole Board issued an arrest warrant for Parole Violations, as a result of a 2010 arrest for Reckless Conduct with a Firearm. During this incident, Miranda was involved in an exchange of gunfire while pushing a baby stroller.
A crowd of neighbors stood on the corner of Beech Street, which was blocked by a pair of police cruisers. Three women walked up to ask if anyone knew who the victim was. One of the women, who did not want to be interviewed, only said the woman she knows at that address often watches her grandchildren. READ MORE
