VIDEO: Police seek 2 suspects in Spruce Street shooting

Video surveillance captured an image of two men dressed in white Ty-Vek suits entering the apartment building shortly before the shooting occurred. Detectives believe at least one of the men was armed at the time of the incident. The victim was shot, but refused to cooperate with the investigation, so it is unknown what the motive for the shooting is. READ MORE

West Side shooting resulted after argument over Free State porcupine flag

According to Det. Kenneth Loui, the catalyst to the shooting was it a flag associated with the Free State Project featuring a porcupine and the words “Don’t Tread on Me.” According to Det. Loui, the alleged shooter, Michael Sirois, felt the flag was a desecration of its original form, also known as the “Gadsden flag,” which features the same words but with a snake. READ MORE
