High pressure builds in for today and will remain centered to our south through the day. This will allow for generally lighter winds compared to yesterday that will shift out of the southwest during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-30s with a mostly sunny sky.

Partly sunny in the morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs around 15. West winds 35 to 45 mph… except west 45 to 60 mph at elevations above 5,000 feet. Gusts up to 85 mph decrease to 75 mph in the afternoon. Wind chill values as low as 43 below.
Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire Today:
Mostly cloudy. Highs around 18. West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Wind chill values as low as 36 below.
