Sunday will be Wind-day: Weather advisory from noon to midnight

GRAY, MAINE – The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, has issued a wind advisory Wind from noon on Nov. 19 through midnight.

Expect winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, strong enough that they may cause small limbs to snap and lead to isolated power outages.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph, or wind gusts 46 to 57 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
