
MANCHESTER, NH – The first day of Daylight Savings Time is notorious for traffic accidents, which could be a contributing factor to a series of accidents Sunday morning.
Of course, snow never helps.
An Audi traveling on Henry Bridge Road in Goffstown lost control and skidded into a Goffstown DPW plow truck. The driver of the vehicle was entrapped and removed from the rear of the vehicle and transported to Catholic Medical Center with serious injuries. A passenger of the car was evaluated for injuries. The plow operator was not injured but there was significant damage to the plow, and the Audi.

In Manchester a vehicle traveling on I-293 merging onto I-93 North lost control. skidding down an embankment and rolling over. The occupants were seat-belted and reportedly not injured or trapped.

A pick up truck skidded off the road and over a guardrail at Routes 101 and 114 in Bedford. No further information was immediately available. Duval’s Towing was called to assist in removing the truck from the embankment.
