Stephen B. Delaney, 65: Loved the Red Sox, church-goer, will be missed by family

MANCHESTER, NH – Stephen B. Delaney, 65, of Manchester, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his residence in Manchester.

Mr. Delaney was born on March 29, 1951, in Haverhill, the son of the late Gale and Marguerite (Willoughby) Delaney. He was a resident of Manchester for over 40 years.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Delaney was employed by Trilogy Wheelchair & Elder Care Services.

He was very active with the Manchester Christian Church, and was a big Red Sox fan.

Members of his family include two daughters, Marguerite “Meg” and Melody Delaney, both of Manchester; a granddaughter on the way; one brother, Jeff Delaney, of Haverhill, NH; a nephew, Jeremy; and one uncle, Dixie Delaney.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 10 a.m. at Manchester Christian Church, 1308 Wellington Road, in Manchester. Spring burial will take place in Horse Meadow Cemetery, in Haverhill, NH.

It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial donations to The Manchester Christian Church, 1308 Wellington Road, Manchester, NH 03104, in memory of Mr. Delaney.
