State Police seek hit-and-run driver that left 3 injured

Police are searching for the driver of a blue car with front-end damage.

MANCHESTER, NH – On Friday, May 26, 2017, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Troopers from the State Police Troop B Barracks responded to a report of a vehicle rollover on Interstate 293 southbound in Manchester just north of Exit 6.

Witnesses at the scene stated that the rollover was caused by a hit-and-run driver. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark blue four-door Subaru, possibly a Legacy, with New Hampshire plates.

Prior to the collision, witnesses described the suspect vehicle as driving aggressively at speeds in excess of 100 mph and also passing in breakdown lanes. The suspect vehicle was making a pass in the left breakdown lane when it sideswiped one vehicle, then the suspect vehicle struck a second vehicle, causing the second vehicle to rollover.

The vehicle that rolled over contained three occupants, the adult driver and two children. All three were transported to the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester with minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle was seen driving from the Interstate 93 southbound area in Concord and last seen in the area of Interstate 293 southbound by Exit 6.

The suspect vehicle should have fresh damage to the front end and passenger side. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper First Class Christopher Cummings at 603-223-8674. State Police were assisted at the scene by the Manchester Fire Department and AMR Ambulance.
